Frozen Entrée Dishes

Our dishes are suitable for cooking directly from frozen. We recommend steaming to optimally retain flavor and texture. Additional ingredients such as vegetables may be incorporated, and cooking times should be adjusted to suit individual stovetop variations.

  1. Remove all packaging and transfer the dish onto a steam-safe plate. Steam over boiling water.
  2. Refer to the recommended steaming time indicated on the packaging.

  • Braised Pork Belly with Preserved Vegetable (25 – 30 mins)

  • Portuguese Chicken (Boneless) (Defrost. Reheat in a pot over low to medium heat, stir often. When the sauce thickens, it is ready to serve)

  • Knuckles with Fermented Bean Sauce (25 – 30 mins)

For the following items, thaw first, then pan fry on low-medium heat until fully cooked or golden brown on both sides.

  • Vegan Tofu Skin Rolls

  • Pork Patty w/ Preserved Vegetables

For the following items, air fry at 350F for 10-12 minutes. Finally, stir with the heated sauce.

For the following items, it is recommended to heat up in the air fryer.

And, flipping over in between intervals during processing are required.

  • Crispy Pork Cutlets (Thawing not required, air-fry at 350F for about 15 mins)
  • Deep-Fried Pork Intestines (Defrost, air-fry at 350F for about 15 mins)
  • HK Style Deep Fried Chicken Legs (Thawing not required, at 375F for 17-18 mins from frozen, or at 350F for 12-15 if thawed)

The following items are recommended to heat up in microwave.

First, pour them into a microwave-safe container. Then, heat up until it is hot thoroughly and evenly.

  • Hong Kong Style Baked Pork Chop with Fried Rice
    • Heat-up sauce and pour it on top of the rice. Then, place pork chops on top
  • Baked Chicken with Mushroom Sauce on Rice
    • Preheat oven to 375F and bake for 25-30 mins
  • Baked Meat Sauce Spaghetti
    • Preheat oven to 375F and bake for 25-30 mins
  • Fat Choi Dace Fish Balls
    • Steam for 17 minutes over boiling water
  • Steamed Mashed Prawns on Fish Maw
    • Thawing is required. Put the sauce in and steam over boiling water for 11-12 mins
  • Lamb Stew with Bean Curd
    • Defrost fully, remove plastic lid, and place aluminum tray directly on stovetop. Heat over low to medium heat until hot throughout. Serve once steaming.
  • Poon Choi (Frozen)
    • Thaw Poon Choi with sauce in the refrigerator overnight
    • Heat the sauce over medium heat and stir continuously until sauce is heated evenly
    • In Poon Choi, add the heated sauce first then add boiling water until 80% full. Cook Poon Choi (with container) directly on the stove in low heat until boiling.
    • After boiling, cook in low-heat until sauce thickens (varies according to your personal preference.

All soup can be cooked frozen. Removing packaging, bring to boil for 8-10 minutes or until it is hot thoroughly and evenly.

Hot Serve: Removing packaging, bring to boil for 8-10 minutes or until it is hot thoroughly and evenly.

Cold Serve: Ready to eat after defrosting.

Congee (Frozen)

Thaw and remove packaging, pour congee into a container. Bring to boil until it is hot thoroughly and evenly.

Frozen Marinated Favorites (Raw)

Thawing in advance and flipping over in between intervals during processing are required for the below items.

  • Deep-Fried Chicken Wings
    • Airfry at 375F for 15 minutes, or bake at 425F - 450F for 10-12 minutes
  • BBQ Pork Chop w/ Lemongrass
    • Barbecue/Pan fry: Defrost, grill or pan fry until golden brown and completely cooked
    • Airfryer: Defrost, airfry at 375F for around 20-23 mins
  • BBQ Chicken Chop w/ lemongrass
    • Barbecue/Pan fry: Defrost, grill or pan fry until golden brown and completely cooked
    • Airfryer: Defrost, airfry at 375F for around 20-23 mins
  • BBQ Pork
    • Barbecue: Defrost, grill until golden brown and completely cooked
    • Airfryer: Defrost, airfry at 350F-375F for around 30-35 mins
  • BBQ Satay Squid
    • Barbecue/Pan fry: Defrost, grill or pan fry until golden brown and completely cooked
    • Airfryer: Defrost, airfry at 375F for around 15-17 mins

Frozen Dumplings

  • Soup Dumplings (Xiao Long Bao) - Steam for 14-15 minutes over boiling water
  • Vegetarian potstickers
  • Pork Potstickers
    All potstickers cook from frozen. Place frozen dumplings in a non-stick pan with 2 tbsp oil. Add water to cover ½–¾ of their height. Cover and pan-fry on medium heat for about 10 minutes until bottoms are golden and crispy. Serve hot.

Signature Bites (Frozen)

Thawing is not required for most of the below items.

  • Tri-Colour Crystal Balls (Steam 8-10 mins. Taste best when warm)
  • Red Dates with Brown Sugar Cake (Steam 15 mins, or 8 mins after thawed. Taste best when cooled)
  • Pandan Coconut Cake (Steam 15 mins, or 8 mins after thawed. Taste best when cooled)
  • Deep-Fried Meat Dumplings (Partially defrost and preheat oven/airfryer to 400F. Spray oil on surface, and then bake/airfry for 10 mins)
  • Deep-Fried Black Sesame Balls (Thaw and preheat oven/airfryer to 400F. Spray oil on surface, and then bake/airfry for 10 mins)
  • Shrimp Spring Rolls / Vegetable Spring Rolls (No need to thaw. Lightly brush the surface with oil, then air-fry at 375°F for 15 minutes. Brush with oil every 5 minutes)
  • Deep-Fried Milk (Airfry at 350F for 15-16 mins / Bake in oven at 375-400F for 9-10mins)
  • Bite-Sized Pork Pastry (Air fry at 350F for 15 mins

ALL above dumpling items can be cooked frozen. Boil water and add FROZEN wontons/dumplings. Let it boil until they are floating on top.

Baking (Unbaked)

  • 852 Signature Pineapple Buns / Pineapple BBQ Pork Buns
    1. Thaw the dough inside the fridge overnight (Do not defrost the toppings)
    2. Take out the dough from the fridge and let it rise in room temperature until the dough expands 75-100% in size. This will take about 3 hours. For a faster proofing process, use the oven function “Proof”. This will take around 1 hour
    3. Preheat oven to 300F
    4. Take out the topping from freezer 15 minutes before baking.
    5. Lightly brush the top of the bun with a thin layer of egg wash (whisk yolk + egg white)
    6. Layer the topping over the bun
    7. Then lightly brush the topping with egg wash again. The egg wash enhances the look of the crackling effect once the buns are baked
    8. Bake the buns for 15-17 minutes at 300F until the top turns to golden brown.
  • Tapioca Pudding (all flavors)
    1. Take out from freezer and remove the lid of container before thawing in room temperature.
    2. Preheat oven to 350F
    3. Brush the topping with egg wash (whisk yolk + egg white)
    4. Bake for 20-30 minutes until the top turns golden brown

Thawing is not required for the below items.

  • BBQ Pork Pastry
    1. Brush egg wash, preheat oven or air fryer to 375F
    2. Bake or air fry for 20-25 mins, then take out and brush honey on top
  • Chicken Mushroom Pie
    Pre-heat oven to 375F, then bake for 25 mins
  • Apple Pie
    Pre-heat oven to 375F, then bake for 25-30 mins
  • Traditional Walnut Cookies
    Pre-heat oven to 350F, then bake for 10-12 mins until the top turns golden yellow
  • Curry Puff Pastry
    Pre-heat oven to 375F, then bake for 20-30 mins
  • Century Egg Pastry
    Pre-heat oven to 375F, then bake for 25-30 mins
  • Bite-Sized Pork Pastry
    Pre-heat oven to 350F, then bake for 15 mins
